On Tuesday, I plan to travel to Bangladesh where the National Bible Society there will be holding a meeting of top church and organizational leaders. A colleague, Rita Peterson, and I will be giving them a 'taste' of Trauma Healing, an overview of what's involved, and then deciding together if they want to incorporate Trauma Healing into their ministries. If yes, we'll organize some training in 2012.
From there we go on to Khulna where another colleague, Barb Knutson, has organized a Trauma Healing Seminar with the Assembly of God Church. I'll be helping on staff.
These are the plans: Please pray that my visa would be issued today from the Bangladesh embassy in DC, and if not issued, that they could get my passport back. (It's possible to get a visa on arrival in Bangladesh, but evidently not easy to get a passport back from an embassy if they haven't finished processing it.) Normally I should have gotten it back by now. The Bangladeshi embassy will be closed Monday - Wednesday next week.
