Breaking the silence

Dear friends,
Life has not been dull. Moving is unsettling, and Ralph and I are still in process. One huge highlight is that American Bible Society has created a Global Centre for Trauma Healing that will provide administrative support for the trauma healing work. Over the past 10 years, Trauma Healing has spread virally around the world, but many opportunities have fallen through the cracks for lack of oversight. My new position with ABS is Trauma Healing Program Director. You can imagine, I'm delighted, challenged, and at times overwhelmed by the need and opportunities. I appreciate your prayers.

I'm preparing for another workshop in Goma, DRC the first 2 weeks of August. The experiences of these church leaders are shocking but real. With God's help, can we put an end to the horror? We pray for peace on earth.
