I'll be going to Goma, DRC again on February 6th to lead the final Story-based Trauma Healing workshop with the 22 church leaders we have been working with over the past year. They now have 24 stories (12 Bible stories and 12 current life trauma stories) on the theme of trauma healing and 12 Scripture songs in their languages which they are telling to one and all and seeing people recover from the wounds of trauma.
One thing they need is cameras. They need to take photos of their work to get the word out about their ministries--for prayer, for funding. Do you happen to have a camera that still works that you are no longer using? It could be put to good use in DRC. Send it to me before Feb 6th and you'll make someone far away very happy!
