On the Road Again

I spent 2 full weeks without leaving the house waiting for my foot to heal. Ralph and I had a fun time being together.
Now it's time to be on the road again. (After this, travel lightens up!)
First stop: Botswana. I led a translation course there in Dec 2008, and this is the follow-up, partly to teach the participants more and partly to see if this new course is working well.
Second stop: Bunia, DR Congo. I'll be leading the first Scripture Use course at Shalom Seminary. This will be my first trip to Congo, but I have heard a lot about it through the Trauma Healing ministry. Pray that these church leaders would be well-equipped to share God's Word in ways that bring healing to this land which has been devastated by ethnic warfare for the last 20 years.
Third stop: Nairobi, Kenya. Scripture Use and Community Development experts will be meeting to develop materials we can use with local church leaders to help them work with their churches and communities in ways that bring about shalom (i.e. wellness in every aspect of life).
Fourth stop: All work and no play makes Harriet exhausted. My plane home stops in Amsterdam, and I'll buzz over to Brussels to spend Easter with Melody, Johnvir, and Max.
I'll be able to submit the translation course book for publication before leaving home. Hurray!
